HOURLY RATE
We try to stick to billing a monthly rate so that clients know what to expect on a regular basis for bookkeeping costs. However, sometimes clients need assistance for things that don't fall within a recurring need. For one-off services, such as financial planning, budgeting, year-end cleanup, 1099 filings, QBO training etc. we will charge an hourly rate.
$VARIABLE
MONTHLY RATE
The monthly rate will vary depending on the number of bank accounts, transactions, services needed, and complexity of your business needs - which varies greatly from client to client! Typically the cost range is from $350-1,750/month. At minimum this includes classification of transactions, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reports which you can use to make smart business decisions. This could also include accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, or other services. Whatever you need!
All About the SHE Behind SDYB
stefanie hodinh - she really cares!
Hello and welcome to our world of fun, feminine bookkeeping. I’m thrilled you have come to visit our site! Let me take a quick moment to introduce myself.
My name is Stefanie. The ‘she’ in my brand refers to Stefanie Hodinh Enterprises. I am a mommy to two little ones whom I love more than I could ever explain, a wife to my brilliant go-getter husband Aaron, a sister, a daughter, and a friend. I am also an experienced accounting professional. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Texas State University in 2015. While attending school full-time I received my first two bookkeeping clients, one a retail shop and the other an architecture firm. Shortly after graduating I joined a top-10 nationwide accounting firm as an auditor and transitioned into a consulting role where I wore many hats. My 5+ years of experiences at this firm encompassed various engagements of accounting and compliance, such as financial auditing, single auditing, internal auditing, contract auditing, sales tax auditing, grant compliance, financial management, bookkeeping, general business consulting, and most recently COVID-19 recovery response consulting. Everything I touched not only focused on numbers and/or rules, but also on connecting with the clients I served on a real level.
Reaching out for human connection and caring for my clients is and always has been the most gratifying component of the work I do. In fact, this last year during some intensive sessions with my mentor, Liya James (you need her book “The Get Real Method” by the way), we did a deep dive examining all my life’s work to determine what exactly is my most unique talent that I offer to the world. Through this process we found that what I am really good at is caring about others and using that to drive results. Yes, I am organized, a little type A, self-motivated, know my way around a spreadsheet, and am well-versed in accounting principles and accounting systems. But when it comes down to what makes me stand out, that differentiator is the way I care for my clients and how that leads me to create positive results. I hope you consider letting me in to your world. I would love to help you focus on your own specific talents rather than spending your precious time doing tasks that give you angst – which if you’re like most other business owners I know, is keeping your books.
WHAT'S TO COME
How WE Grow & Build Up Others
We are business that is keen to building up other women on their path to creating their own careers. I want to make it clear I have nothing against men. I also would not exclude hiring a man if he was a good fit. This has everything to do with what OUR calling is, and our calling is to seek out other women, build them up, teach them, coach them, put money in their pockets. Specifically, we are always looking for women in school who are trying to figure out how they want to put their education to use in a way that makes them excited to join the professional workforce and mothers who are looking for a way to support their family without sacrificing too much of their precious time with their young ones, but this list is not exclusive.
Know someone who might be a good fit? Please send them our way!
